General Information
This is a prototype Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS) to calculate Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) risk for overweight and obese women in the first to early second trimester.
Important note:The current version is only for academic use and benchmarking. Further validation of the system is required. Please do not use it in a clinical setting.
Instructions
This version of the system is a prototype and requires further evaluation for use in a clinical setting.
You can select one of the patients below (one column is one patient) and input the values
in the appropriate boxes to get an evaluation of their GDM risk.

Inputs & Output
Inputs
The GDM calculator uses four features as inputs: the patient's gestational age, maternal age, weight and family history of diabetes in the first to early second trimester.
If you have fasting insulin, glucose or white cell count, please consider the other calculators. Return to home
Output
The output is the probability that the patient will develop GDM. This ranges between 0 and 1, where 0 is low probability
of developing GDM, while 1 is high probability of developing GDM.
